Sponk (Dan Geffert)
I’ve been creatively active for as long as I can remember. Already at an early age, I discovered my natural inclination towards and desire to craft material representations of my inner fantasies with my hands – a process that brings me great joy to this very day. Once I’m determined to achieve something, there’s nothing that can stand between me and its final realization, regardless of how difficult the challenge seems or how long it may take. In fact, discerning challenges that really put me to the test particularly inspire me.
These challenges can be either my own or those of my clients. In overcoming them, I place particular value on a great wealth of detail and innovation.
When creating pieces of art, I want them to remain exciting for a long time, to constantly hide small details out of sight for later discovery: hidden details, concealed relationships between elements of an image, or peculiarities in the color composition.
