With his work “Pink Jupiter” Sponk wants to set a sign, “The world is becoming more and more
digital, and I will be a part of this development.”
Sponk has been exploring the aesthetics of the macroscopic world of colours and liquids with
his project “Vivid Liquids” for some years now. Technological devices and computers have
become essential tools in crafting his art. In 2017 he took it one step further and developed
his own device, “Ernst Haeckel”, an apparatus to help him uncover even more secrets of his
frenetic orchestras of colours.
“I am the conductor, the colours are the instruments, and my machine is the extension of my human capacities.”
This way Sponk creates massive colour-scapes like “Pink Jupiter”.
As a person deeply connected with nature Sponk does not want to leave anything
unattempted to protect it, so he auctions this unique piece. It is the world’s biggest NFTminted work of art and exclusively available on Webseite Unitedcharity.de
“Art is my passion and nature is my muse.”
Sponk fosters many a thought on the future of our lives and he is convinced that art in a digital
form will be an essential part of them.
The real world and the digital world become more and more connected. This is most apparent
in video games but also in finances crypto currencies like Bitcoin and others show which
significance the virtual world bears in our future.
NFTs provide our society with an opportunity that art will have its place in the world as well.
This is why Sponk minted further pieces of his work in cooperation with bitrockxa.com as NFTs
